Some additional information from Nokishita’s Twitter account on the rumored Pentax KP DSLR camera that will have a “special” battery grip:
“It is confirmed that Pentax KP will be announced soon. As for market positioning, it’s equivalent to K-5 and K-3, not an entry-level model such as K-S2 or K-70.”
“It is confirmed that Pentax KP and battery grip D-BG7 will be announced next week. A silver version is likely to be announced at the same time (whether it’s a limited edition [or a regular model] is unknown)”

This could be the patent corresponding to the “well-considered battery grip system” of the rumored Pentax KP camera. The grip attaches with a special locking handle and not by using the tripod socket as other cameras:

A new Pentax KP DSLR camera was recently (January 11th) registered at the Indonesian telecommunication agency. The camera will have a built-in Wi-Fi and/or a GPS module and it will be manufactured in the Philippines. This could be the new DSLR camera expected to be announced at the CP+ show (I reported about it yesterday).
