The Pentax K-1 Mark II camera will start shipping in March 2018 with a price tag of $1,999.95. The lens kit with the HD PENTAX-D FA 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR lens will cost $2,399.95.

The new Pentax K-1 Mark II DSLR camera will be announced soon and will replace the current Pentax K-1 by adding some new upgrades. The Pentax K-1 Mark II will be available for sale also as a kit with with the HD PENTAX-D FA 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6 ED DC WR lens. The official Ricoh Czech Republic Facebook page announced that the Pentax K-1 DSLR camera is now officially discontinued:
“Oznamujeme ukončení prodeje úspěšného modelu PENTAX K-1. Poslední kusy je možné ještě objedávat u našich obchodních partnerů, jejich seznam naleznete zde: Kde můžete koupit produkty RICOH – PENTAX”
Translation:
“We announce the end of the sale of the successful PENTAX K-1. The last units can be ordered from our business partners, the list of which can be found here:”
Two weeks ago, there was a reliable report from Japan about a new Pentax K-1 Mark II DSLR camera.
The Pentax K-1 was announced on February 17th, 2016 and is currently selling for $1,779.95.
The Pentax K-3 II camera was also recently discontinued.
