The Pentax insider Asahi man shared some interesting info in the last few days (see also what appears to be the first Pentax K-1 Mark II teaser above):
- No new Pentax K-3 Mark III in sight
- Currently the Pentax K-P is the APS-C flagship model
- A new high-end APS-C model is in development (but not K-3 Mark III)
- Pentax K-1 firmware update was canceled, but a new K-1 Mark II camera is coming instead with the changes from the firmware update
- Ricoh is focusing on high-end products (e.g. K-1 Mark II and full frame lenses)
