I received information that Ricoh is preparing to announce a new Theta spherical VR camera that could come with 4k video recoding capabilities. Ricoh already has two different Theta models. The new version will most likely be announced for the Photokina show in September.
After the Pentax K-50, Q-S1 and 645D camera, the Pentax K-S1 DSLR camera is now also discontinued. B&H still has some K-S1 cameras in stock starting from $399.

Ricoh released firmware update version 5.01 for their GR compact camera with a single fix: Corrected – Interval Composite may not close correctly for enhanced features (V5.00).
