This nearly straight line with a slope of -1 is indicative of ISO invariance which we can confirm by examining the Photographic Dynamic Range Shadow Improvement chart:

The waviness of this nearly flat line is indicative of how intermediate ISO settings are pushed/pulled from the adjacent whole ISO setting. This is made even clearer if we examine the Input-Referred Read Noise chart:

    Interesting data but what is the takeaway message?

      K-1 slightly better than the Nikon D810 at higher ISO setting … but then the Nikon D800E is still better than both.

    so similar to other incarnations of the Sony 36mp sensor in the D800/810 and the Sony A7R What’s the difference of over three ev with dxo mark measurements, compared to this test?
