k-s2 with a better grip and a better sensor

The linked digicame-info source also updated the specs for the K-70, including mention that the K-70 supports 14 bit. That’s something the K-50 and K-S2 never had.

Pentax APS-C lineup becomes very fuzzy these days. Based on rumored specifications K-70 has better sensor than APS-C flagship K-3II.

The sensor of the K-70 is better, but the K-3II still has the pro-oriented body/AF/shutter. Kind of makes you wonder what the next K-3 could offer to give some more separation between bodies. Sony has yet to take their APSC sensors above 24mp. Maybe a BSI sensor. Maybe more video options (4k) or something along those lines. Or maybe they just take the Fuji approach and offer the same APSC sensors across the range, with bodies being the only significant differentiator.

Wonder how the color selection will be like this time around. The earlier K-50 was broad.

    So a K-S2 ii then…

Basically if it has mechanical sensor stabilisation in video mode I will buy it. If not, I won’t. Very simple!
