finally, hope this fixes SR with 90 macro.

      What is Sr?

      • Kunzite

Shake Reduction – Pentax’ name for image stabilization.
It can be in body, via sensor shift – all current K-mount DSLRs supports this form of SR – or in lens, for the 645 series.
        There are currently 2 D FA645 SR lenses, the 90mm f/2.8 macro and a 28-45mm f/4.5

          Ah thanks

  • This is oddly worded…. SR does not operate normally with lens equipped with SR… How does it operate with a lens without?!

      • Normally? The 645D does not have SR AFAIK. So without a lens with SR, there is no SR.

that would be normal behavior for a sr less body with a sr less lens

Does Pentax have Pro support yet? That is the ony thing holding me from the Z645.

I have a 645d, and a Nikon d610, and love them both! I have friends who have blads, and use the 645 for outdoor work because it is sealed, and less delicate. I would never ever replace these cameras unless there were a quantum leap in quality. The lenses seem to be the weakness, as some lenses are much better than others. So my suggestion to pentax/Ricoh, would be to make a fab lens. I even use a celestron c-90 on my d610, and am experimenting with using a schmidt telescope with a huge objetive, as I need the resolving power, and light gathering that is missing with the tiny crap lenses currently available!!!
