After several delays, Ricoh finally announced the release date of the new HD Pentax-D FA 70-200mm f/2.8 ED DC AW lens: March 18th, 2016. The US price of the lens is $2,296.9. Adorama and B&H are now taking pre-orders.

To commemorate Ricoh’s 80th anniversary, the company released a new Pentax K-3 II Silver edition camera. Only 500 pieces will be produced worldwide. The K-3 II Silver edition has a special silver-color coating on top of the magnesium-alloy camera body:
“In order to give a more elegant, high-grade appearance to this exclusive model, its surface features is not the original glossy finish, but a high-class textured finish, which requires a more sophisticated quality control process during production.” (Google translation)
The product box has been exclusively designed box/packaging. The camera’s specifications are the same as the original Pentax K-3 II model.
