Prices of the new HD PENTAX-FA Limited lenses and K-1 Mark II J Limited 01 camera leaked online

Nokishita leaked the prices (including tax) of the upcoming three HD PENTAX-FA Limited lenses:

  • HD PENTAX-FA 31mm f/1.8 Limited: ¥137,800 ($1,300), smc versio: $997
  • HD PENTAX-FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited: ¥76,800 ($700), smc version: $547
  • HD PENTAX-FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited: ¥105,800 ($1,000), smc version: $897
  • Pentax K-1 Mark II J Limited 01 camera: ¥349,800 ($3,300)

Update – the three new HD PENTAX-FA Limited lenses are now officially announced:

Coming soon: three HD PENTAX-FA Limited lenses and a new Pentax K-1 Mark II J Limited 01 camera

More leaks from Ricoh – in addition to the leaked lens from the weekend, there will be two other new HD PENTAX-FA Limited lenses (total of 3):

Update – the three new HD PENTAX-FA Limited lenses are now officially announced:

  • HD PENTAX-FA 31mm f/1.8 Limited lens: Adorama | B&H
  • HD PENTAX-FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited lens: Adorama | B&H
  • HD PENTAX-FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited lens: Adorama | B&H

The new lenses will be available in black and silver and will be released in late April.


There will be also a new Pentax K-1 Mark II J Limited 01 camera that will be announced this week and will start shipping in late April. The new Mark II J Limited was described to have a “black & gold viridian scarlet rouge LX75 metallic”. The previous Pentax KP J Limited DSLR camera was recently discontinued.

Ricoh is rumored to announce a new HD PENTAX-FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited lens that will be priced at $799 (the current smc version is priced at $897) – this information was leaked on a US website that received the information (press release) ahead of the official announcement from Ricoh. This is a free update with new features and enhancements to Portrait AI, added support for .ABR Adobe brush files, slider control improvements, support for new cameras and lenses, and more. Avalanche is a new software solution that can import/export photo libraries between different platforms while preserving all edits (Aperture, Lightroom, Luminar and soon CaptureOne). New platforms are being added on a regular basis – Cyme recently released a new version of Avalanche that is now compatible with Luminar AI. The new Avalanche for Luminar can migrate existing Aperture, Lightroom (and soon CaptureOne) photo catalogs into Luminar catalogs. Here are screenshots from the interface:
