Pentax K-1 silver limited edition DSLR camera to be announced soon

Back in May I broke the news that Ricoh will announce a new Pentax K-1 silver limited edition DSLR camera later in 2017.

Today the Japanese site Nokishita confirmed my rumor – here is what to expect:

  • Release date is September 14th
  • Only 2000 cameras will be produced worldwide
  • Metal hot shoe, battery grip and two batteries are included
  • Retail price in Japan will be around 297,000 yen including tax (around $2,700) – the regular Pentax K-1 camera (body only) currently sells for $1,896.95 in the US.
