New advisory: some Sigma lenses could also scratch the Pentax K-70 camera

New: Samyang 20mm f/1.8 ED AS UMC full frame lens for Pentax K mount

Samyang announced a new 20mm f/1.8 ED AS UMC full frame lens for Pentax K mount. The US pricing is not yet announced, in Europe the suggested retail prices are EUR 499 for 20mm f/1.8 photo version and EUR 549 for 20mm T1.9 cine lens.

Ricoh released firmware updates for the Pentax K-S1, K-S2, K-3 II and K-1 cameras

Last week Ricoh released firmware updates for the Pentax K-S1, K-S2, K-3 II and K-1 cameras that bring compatibility with thew new KAF4 lens mount (electromagnetic diaphragm control system):
