The new Ricoh GF-2 flash is exclusively designed for the GR IV camera

With the GR camera, yesterday Ricoh also announced a new GF-2 flash exclusively designed for use with the GR IV. When used with the ISO Auto Flash mode on the GR IV, the GF-2 allows the camera to automatically adjust its guide-number and ISO sensitivity settings according to the subject’s distance. Expect the new Ricoh GR IV camera to be out of stock for the next 12 months, maybe even longer

I spoke with several retailers today, and despite the significant price increase, the number of Ricoh GR IV camera pre-orders was nearing that of the Fuji X100VI. Expect the new Ricoh GR IV camera to be out of stock for at least the next 12 months, possibly longer. I am sure the official statement of delivery delays will come out very soon. The first GR IV batch will start shipping in mid-September. For pre-orders and availability, check the links below:

I would not pre-order this camera from Amazon because they are known for canceling orders after a few months of waiting for inventory.
