New: Samyang 20mm f/1.8 ED AS UMC full frame lens for Pentax K mount

Samyang announced a new 20mm f/1.8 ED AS UMC full frame lens for Pentax K mount. The US pricing is not yet announced, in Europe the suggested retail prices are EUR 499 for 20mm f/1.8 photo version and EUR 549 for 20mm T1.9 cine lens. Additional information on the new lens can be found here.

Zeiss has no plans to bring back the ZK mount for Pentax DSLR cameras

A dpreview forum member contacted Zeiss and asked them about any potential ZK lenses being developed in the future – the answer was that Zeiss has no plans to bring back the Pentax ZK mount despite the recent introduction of the K-1. Here is the full email:
