Ricoh Image Sync version 2.1.8 has been released with support for the new GR IIIx camera

Ricoh released Image Sync version 2.1.8 with support for the new Ricoh GR IIIx camera:

  • Compatible with the RICOH GR III x scheduled to be released in early October.
  • In order to use this version with GR III, it is necessary to update the RICOH GR III firmware (version 1.50) or later scheduled to be released in early October.
  • Added support for the JPEG image resizing transfer function, which will be added in the GR III function expansion firmware upgrade (scheduled to be released in early October).
  • You can now send location information to GR III even when you put your smartphone to sleep or use other apps while Image Sync is running.
