Ricoh just announced the development of a new flagship Pentax K DSLR camera with an APS-C sensor that will be exhibited at the next Pentax event on September 21st – the official announcement is expected in 2020 (I assume this is the rumored surprise for 2019):

The K series digital SLR camera currently under development will be exhibited at the PENTAX fan event.
