Pentax is coming with a “big surprise” next year

Asahi man made a comment on dpreview that Pentax will not go out of business and a big surprise is expected next year for the brand’s 100th anniversary (Pentax was founded in November 1919):

It’s time to put this senseless speculation to an end… Nope, Pentax will not going out of photo business… There is a very, very internal roadmap…. Cameras and lenses… A nice fullframe line up is in sight, no sign for going out of business. Next year is the big anniversary, don’t forget this point. I know, the most forum users here, will be surprised.

It seems that most of the development is going for full frame K-mount products:

Currently nearly all the development power is going into K fullframe SLR. Body and lens development, very interesting and in 2 classes. But, SLR!! (dpreview)
