The HD PENTAX-D FA 70-210mm f/4 ED SDM WR lens (rebadged Tamron) is now marked as discontinued at the official Ricoh Japan website (see the full list of discontinued lenses here.) and several major Japanese retailers:

  • Kitamura Camera: on sale now
  • Map Camera: discontinued products
  • Bic Camera: production discontinued
  • Yodobashi Camera: low in stock

In the US, the lens is currently discounted ($337 off) and in stock at B&H Photo and Amazon (still full price at Adorama):

No new Ricoh GR IV camera was announced at the 2025 CP+ show

No new Ricoh GR IV camera was announced at the 2025 CP+ show. It seems that the “rumors” reported by a few other sites a few months ago were incorrect, as I already noted:

Rumors about new Ricoh GR IV and GR Monochrome cameras got debunked quickly

Ricoh did not even take part in the 2025 CP+ show:

Ricoh will not take part in the 2025 CP+ show, but Pentax will participate in the Photography and Video Show 2025

Obviously, Ricoh may still announce a new GR IV model later this year, but as of today, I have not seen any reliable information confirming those rumors:

I think it would be great if Ricoh also released a new monochrome GR version, but again, as of today, this is not happening:
