Pentax K-70 camera will start shipping on July 22nd

The shipping date of the new Pentax K-70 camera is listed as July 22nd on the official Ricoh Japan website. B&H lists the US availability as July 30th, while Amazon lists it as July 15th. The new HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE lens will start shipping in August.

Pentax K-70 camera registered by the Korean Radio Research Agency

Ricoh registered a new Pentax K-70 camera with the Korean Radio Research Agency (RRA). My guess is that this new camera will be announced during the Photokina show in September and it will be a replacement for the current K-50 model. Stay tuned for additional details. Via Digicame-info
