In addition to the recent update for the GR II, Ricoh also released a new firmware version 5.0 for the older GR model. The changes are related to the new Ricoh GM-1 macro conversion lens (priced at $109.95):

Next week (on February 23rd) Ricoh will announce a new WG-M2 action camera (successor of the current WG-M1 model pictured above). The main upgrade will be 4k video. (via Digicame-info)
