Latest Ricoh financial reports: strong performance in the camera business

Ricoh released its Q2 financial report. Here is the informtion related to the “Other” segment that includes the camera business:

Other segment sales were ¥18.9 billion and increased by 12.9% as compared to the previous corresponding period, driven by strong
performance in the camera business supported by contributions from new products. Upfront investment for new business creation resulted in Other segment operating profit (loss) of ¥0.2 billion (loss), but this represented an improvement of ¥2.6 billion from the previous corresponding period.
