Ricoh to open a new GR Space in Brisbane, Australia

A new Ricoh GR Space will open in Brisbane, Australia – the first GR Space outside of Asia (see the GR Space Tokyo):

GR SPACE BRISBANE at Wharf 203 in Spring Hill is Australia’s first hub dedicated to the Ricoh GR series of cameras, fostering a community for contemporary photography through creativity, culture, and artistic expression. It will host photographic exhibitions, workshops, and events showcasing local and international GR artists, with a focus on high-quality fine art prints on Ilford Galerie Fine Art Papers.

The space also features a curated photobook collection by Booktopia. Designed as more than a gallery, it aims to be a supportive hub for photographers and enthusiasts, coinciding with the launch of the RICOH GR IV camera.

The inaugural “IV” exhibition, running from October to November 2025, will display works created with the RICOH GR IV by four Australian GRists. The hub is located at Level 2/203 Wharf St, Spring Hill QLD 4000, Australia.
