Pentax K-1 and K-1 Mark II firmware update version 2.41 released

Ricoh releases firmware upgrade version 2.41 for Pentax K-1 and K-1 Mark II cameras – this is a revised version of firmware 2.40 that was released on December 7, 2023, and was later suspended:

Changes to V2.41 from V2.40:

[Corrected items]
The following problems that occurred when updating to firmware version 2.40 have been corrected.

  • Corrected — Images cannot be recorded when the ASTROTRACER Type 3 mode is combined with the interval shooting function
  • Corrected — The SD card slot indicators 1 and 2 on the upper LCD panel flash to indicate that the memory capacity is empty, even when some capacity is still available.
  • Corrected — The number of remaining shots available is incorrectly displayed in the viewfinder.
  • Corrected — In the ASTROTRACER Type 3 mode, the exposure countdown on the upper LCD panel advances at unintended moments.
  • Improved stability for general performance.
    • When this update is done, the contents of version 2.40 and earlier will be also updated.
    • When this update is done, you will not be able to restore back to version 2.40 or earlier.
