A quick update on my post from yesterday – DC.Watch published a detailed report on the upcoming Ricoh GR III camera with many pictures. Here is a quick recap:
- The current Ricoh GW-1 21mm wide-angle conversion lens will not be compatible with the Ricoh GR III (the new version is GW-4). The new GW-4 will have electronic contacts and optical correction will be performed automatically.
- Other accessories are “under consideration”.
- The GR III will have a new menu system.
- New Ricoh DB-110 battery – it has a different shape from the current DB-60/65.
