The prices in Japan are 270,000 yen (over $2,000?) for the 15-30mm and 97,000 yen (over $800) for the 28-105mm. For comparison – the Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di USD costs $1,200.

    Pentax needs to make sure their lenses are priced near third-party models….not price third-party lenses reskinned for the price of offerings from Canon.

    Don’t price high, and then quickly reduce the price – price it low, and keep it there. How many potential FF buyers balk at paying so much for the system because the lenses make it cost the same as a Canon overall….
