Pentax K-1 and K-1 Mark II firmware update version 2.41 released



Ricoh releases firmware upgrade version 2.41 for Pentax K-1 and K-1 Mark II cameras – this is a revised version of firmware 2.40 that was released on December 7, 2023, and was later suspended:

The following issues that occurred when updating to firmware version 2.40 have been corrected.

  • Corrected – Images could not be recorded when the ASTROTRACER Type 3 mode was combined with the interval shooting function.
  • Corrected – The SD card slot indicators 1 and 2 on the upper LCD panel flashed to indicate that the memory capacity was empty, even when some capacity was still available.
  • Corrected – The number of remaining shots available was incorrectly displayed in the viewfinder.
  • Corrected – In the ASTROTRACER Type 3 mode, the exposure countdown on the upper LCD panel advanced at unintended moments.
