New class-action lawsuit filed against Ricoh USA for aperture defects in the Pentax K-30 and K-50 cameras


A new putative class action lawsuit was filed in Pennsylvania against Ricoh USA for defects in the mechanism that controls the aperture of the Pentax K-30 and Pentax K-50 cameras. The defect reportedly leads to consistently black or dark images and renders the affected cameras unusable for their intended purpose:
