The next Pentax APS-C DSLR camera will not be a direct replacement of the K-3 II, it is being developed as a completely new camera line
Official announcement expected in yearly 2020
Completely new sensors, image processing engines and redesigned menu system
The body will not be much different from the K-3 II
Significantly improved image quality
